Growing up in Nigeria, I was taught that education was the only path to success. With my Computer Engineering degree and EMBA in Marketing, I followed the traditional route - working long hours in a corporate environment chasing someone else's dream.

Each day felt the same. I'd spend hours commuting, missing precious moments with family for a paycheck that barely kept up with rising expenses. Despite my education and ambition, I felt trapped in the cycle of trading time for money.

When my wife and I moved to Canada seeking better opportunities, we faced the reality many immigrants know too well - starting over. My credentials weren't immediately recognized, and I found myself taking positions below my qualifications just to make ends meet.

I was working more but feeling less fulfilled.

Today, I've reclaimed control of my time and finances. I no longer miss important family moments. I've paid off debts that once seemed insurmountable. Most importantly, I've found purpose in helping others - especially fellow immigrants - secure their financial futures in their new home.
